2020: COVID-19 Small Business Grants Disbursed

As we close out 2020, Working Solutions has good news to share: we have disbursed $4.33 million in grant dollars to 1,012 small businesses across the Bay Area since March! To put that number into perspective, this means that we have doubled the number of businesses funded in our 20-year history in the last nine months.

Working Solutions supports the smallest businesses in the Bay Area—micro, start-up, early-stage, home-based, or all of the above—owned primarily by lower-income individuals, women, and entrepreneurs of color. We work hard to ensure that we are serving communities that are often left out of mainstream efforts, and the majority of the businesses we supported with grants did not qualify for other forms of COVID-19 relief.
