The Hatch Featured in The New York Times

Working Solutions client Pancho Kachingwe, founder of The Hatch—a bar, restaurant, and community space in Oakland—was recently featured in a powerful article in The New York Times.

The reporter followed Pancho and his employees from mid-March through mid-June as they worked hard to pivot and survive the COVID-19 crisis. Thanks in part to this article, a GoFundMe campaign for The Hatch and its employees has raised over $20,000 to date from individuals across the country.

Pancho has been a Working Solutions client since 2016, when he received his first loan to expand The Hatch by building out more space. Hear directly from Pancho about his experience with Working Solutions in this video from the 2019 Invest in Dreams Breakfast.
