Advocating for Small Business Protections

Working Solutions is proud to advocate at the local, state, and national levels for policies and programs that support and protect small business owners. 

At the state level, Working Solutions CEO Sara Razavi was pleased to join Carolina Martinez, CEO of the California Association for Micro Enterprise Opportunity (CAMEO), and other small business advocates in submitting public comments at a California State Senate hearing in August about proposed consumer and small business protections.

At the national level, Working Solutions joined the Responsible Business Lending Coalition in supporting Representative Nydia Velázquez’s “Small Business Lending Disclosure and Broker Regulation Act." This bill will provide business owners with essential protection from predatory lending practices.
