Celebrating Black History Month: Virtual Events
In honor of Black History Month, the Working Solutions team is participating in a range of virtual events with partner organizations, including:
Co-hosting an ‘Empower Hour’ virtual event with Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center on February 23, featuring digital marketing experts and practical tips. This event is part of our outreach for the new Small Business Revolving Loan Fund serving Bayview Hunters Point and other neighborhoods in San Francisco’s District 10.
Hosting a ‘Capital Readiness’ series in partnership with the Oakland African American Chamber of Commerce, designed to help borrowers build confidence and set expectations by providing insights into the lending process. The next event in this series will take place on February 24 and will focus on the topic of ‘Black Wealth in America: Past, Present, and Legacy.’
Presenting as part of a ‘Pivot & Capital’ event hosted by the Solano Black Chamber of Commerce and other Solano County partners on February 25, designed to share business strategies for navigating challenging economic times.
We hope to see you at one or more of these virtual events!
