Celebrating Black Business Month: Economic Equity for Entrepreneurs of Color

This August, Working Solutions celebrated Black Business Month by connecting with our community for several important conversations about equity in our financial system, including the following highlights:

  • Reimagining Access to Capital: Working Solutions continued our partnership with Chase for Business, U.S. Bank, and Main Street Launch through the "Reimagining Access to Capital" series, designed to empower entrepreneurs of color with the resources and knowledge necessary to navigate the small business capital ecosystem.   • Celebrating Black Business Month: Community Development Manager Anita Russell spoke on a panel about "Melanin, Money, Mentorship" at the Black Women's Entrepreneurship Brunch in San Bruno, which was hosted by Working Solutions client The Vegan Hood Chefs and attended by over 85 women entrepreneurs of color.
