Celebrating Black Business Month and the Small Business Ecosystem

Working Solutions celebrated Black Business Month and the Bay Area's small business ecosystem with events hosted by our partners at the Oakland African American Chamber of Commerce, Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, San Francisco African American Chamber of Commerce, and California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce.

As a special highlight, Working Solutions joined Chase Bank, U.S. Bank, and Main Street Launch for a panel discussion on “Reimagining Capital Readiness” for the Black community. Titi Ikhile, Chief Program Officer, joined panelists from partnering organizations for the conversation which was moderated by our very own Anita Russell, Community Development Officer.

Thank you to all our partners who hosted events this month. It was great to close out the summer with our small business community of entrepreneurs, clients, local leaders, and other stakeholders!
