Working Solutions Receives $1.25MM Award From CDFI Fund

Working Solutions is thrilled to be the recipient of a $1.25 million grant from the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund. This is an extremely competitive application process, and with so many deserving organizations, we are exceptionally proud to be one of only nine California-based CDFIs and one of only two California-based microlenders to receive a Financial Assistance Award above $1MM.

The majority of this grant will be used for lending capital and will expand capital access for historically marginalized small business owners in California—with a focus on BIPOC, low-income, and women entrepreneurs. The award validates our industry leadership and our commitment to economic opportunity for all.
