Working Solutions in the SF Chronicle
"Small loans make a big difference for women and minorities” proclaims the San Francisco Chronicle in an article on the front page of the Sunday Business Report published on January 13, 2019. The article features Working Solutions and Opportunity Fund and the impact both organizations are having on small Bay Area businesses, giving them capital and support to grow and create jobs.
Several businesses are also featured including Working Solutions clients SF Parking and Brenda's French Soul Food.
SF Parking owner Patty Rodriguez, who now runs the successful Employee Parking Lot at SFO, explained how her Working Solutions microloan helped to boost her business. "It made it possible to continue," Patty said. "I don't know if I'd still be operating without that loan." Restaurant owner Brenda Buenviaje, utilized multiple small business loans including one from Working Solutions to grow her initial restaurant, Brenda's French Soul Food.
