Working Solutions Celebrates Record-Setting FY2022

Working Solutions delivered another record-setting year in FY22, making $6.5 million in loans and grants and bringing our all-time capital deployment to over $40 million!

From October 2021 to September 2022, Working Solutions deployed over $5.9 million in loans and nearly $600,000 in grants to 235 businesses and provided over 10,000 hours of free, pre- and post-loan consulting to entrepreneurs in Northern California. We continue to make capital access possible for communities that need us most—76% of our loans and grants in FY22 were made to entrepreneurs of color, 67% to low-income individuals, 63% to women, and 69% to early-stage businesses.

As a volume microlender, our all-time deployment surpassed $40 million in loans and grants as of the close of FY22—that’s 80% of the way to our strategic goal of $50 million in capital deployed by the end of FY24. We continue to build on our ambitious growth trajectory, as we look ahead to expanded impact in FY23.
