CEO Sara Razavi Brings CDFI Perspective to Capitol Hill with the OFN Board

Through her role on the Board of Directors of the Opportunity Finance Network, Working Solutions CEO Sara Razavi recently traveled to Washington, D.C. to meet with Biden-Harris Administration officials, members of Congress, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s CDFI Fund Director Pravina Raghavan.

Board members from around the country brought on-the-ground perspectives related to small business lending and housing and community development finance. While on Capitol Hill, they discussed CDFI industry priorities, including budget appropriations, the CDFI certification process, the legal environment for mission-driven lenders, and the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund.
