June Recap: Working Solutions Staff Represent at Industry Events

Last month, Working Solutions staff members were out and about representing the organization at industry events around the country.

Chief Lending Officer John Palyo, Chief Program Officer Titi Ikhile, and Community Development Manager Anita Russell attended OFN's Small Business Finance Forum in Chicago, where Anita and Titi presented as part of the CDFI Women's Network panel "Over-Mentored and Under-Funded: Women Entrepreneurs of Color";
CFO Gasper Magallanes and Business Consulting Officer Karla Posada attended the CAMEO Micro Lenders Forum in Sacramento, where Gasper spoke about Working Solutions' experience with Scale Link (formerly EBA Fund) and the secondary market for microloans;
Director of Lending Priscilla Woo attended the Credit Builders Alliance Symposium in Washington, D.C. in her role as a CBA Board Member; and
CEO Sara Razavi met with U.S. Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo and representatives of Google.org as part of Google's work with the Economic Opportunity Coalition to improve access to capital for rural and BIPOC communities.
